Cheow Lan Lake

Hidden within the heart of Khao Sok, Cheow Lan Lake is often described as Thailand’s most breathtaking secret. Created in 1982 by the Ratchaprapha Dam, this emerald-green reservoir stretches across dramatic limestone cliffs, hidden caves, and over a hundred islets rising from the water. The scenery is often compared to Guilin in China or Halong Bay in Vietnam, but with its own untouched, mysterious charm.

Guests can explore the lake by traditional long-tail boat, kayak through quiet inlets, or hike to discover hidden waterfalls and wildlife. For the adventurous, floating bungalows and overnight stays on the lake offer an unforgettable way to experience its stillness and beauty. Whether bathed in morning mist or glowing under the setting sun, Cheow Lan Lake is a place where nature reveals its most magical side.
